FSc and HSSC students are a significant portion of every Habib intake. If you're worried the Cambridge-heavy applicant pool works against you, don't be, Habib's admissions process is designed to assess FSc applicants fairly against their own qualification, not against A Levels directly.
Habib accepts FSc and HSSC from any recognised Pakistani board for both DSSE and AHSS. You'll apply through the same portal, sit the same entrance test, and go through the same interview as every other applicant. Your FSc / HSSC transcript replaces the A Level / IB transcript in the file.
Habib doesn't publish a hard minimum percentage, but competitive FSc applicants generally sit in a strong band, often somewhere above 70%, with the exact threshold moving with the applicant pool each year. A strong entrance test score can offset a weaker transcript, and vice versa, but both matter.
Pre-Engineering FSc applicants are well-positioned for DSSE, the maths and physics background aligns directly with the entrance test's Advanced Algebra & Functions section. Pre-Medical applicants can also apply to DSSE but usually need to close a small gap on higher-level algebra and functions, this is fixable in a few weeks of focused prep.
For AHSS, FSc stream matters less. What matters is your writing, your personal statement, and whether you can hold a conversation about ideas in the interview.
The Accuplacer sections don't test the Pakistani curriculum, they test underlying skill. That's why FSc applicants and A Level applicants often score close together despite very different secondary experiences. If you've been anxious about the applicant pool being 'too Cambridge', the entrance test is the equaliser.
