Habib scholarship, an overview

Habib runs one of the more generous financial-aid programs in the region. Around 85% of the student body receives some form of scholarship, merit-based, need-based, or a combination of the two. If you're deciding whether to apply based on affordability, the odds are on your side, not against you.

The two kinds of Habib scholarships

Merit and need-based are separate processes. You apply for both if you're eligible, and Habib considers them together when building your financial package. Neither alone typically covers full tuition, but stacked, they often can.

Merit-based, tied to entrance test performance and academic transcript.
Need-based, tied to documented financial need.

How to give yourself the best shot

Clear the DSSE or AHSS per-section cutoffs first, everything above the cutoff opens more of the aid conversation.
Apply for both merit and need-based aid.
Submit financial documentation early in the cycle.
Don't self-select out because you assume you won't qualify.
