Engineering interviews at DSSE cover Electrical Engineering and Computer Science tracks. Interviewers assess how you think about problems, not how much math you've memorised, and the applicants who over-prepare technical content often come off less convincing than the ones who bring genuine curiosity.
Enough that you're comfortable talking about it, not enough that you'd pass a viva. If a topic you mentioned in your personal statement (e.g., a physics olympiad, a robotics project) comes up, be ready to explain the idea in one plain sentence. That matters more than deriving equations at the whiteboard.
Over-technical answers to non-technical questions. When they ask 'why engineering?', don't recite a bill of specifications, tell a story. When they ask about a problem you'd solve, don't quote from a lecture, use a real one from your life. For the DSSE program details, check Habib's official page.
