Why the Accuplacer matters

Because the Accuplacer is adaptive, one wrong answer early can drop your section score more than a wrong answer late. The engine is trying to converge on your ability level. If you get to the point where every question feels hard, that's a good sign, it means you're being tested at your ceiling, not below it.

Sections you'll practise

Arithmetic, the entry-level math section, mandatory for both schools.
Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra & Statistics, the mid-tier math section.
Advanced Algebra & Functions, DSSE only, and often the section that decides the offer.
Reading, comprehension, inference, and vocabulary in context.
Writing, sentence-level editing and rhetorical control.

How to practise like it's real

Time every session. Don't check the answer until you've committed to yours. Review is more valuable than practice, if you don't understand why the correct answer is correct, you haven't learned the question.
